Bite Me

Bite Me

December 2019   minute read

A truck stop camel has been given precautionary antibiotics after a woman bit the animal. Caspar the camel is housed at the Tiger Truck Stop in Louisiana, and the woman allegedly climbed through the barbed wire of his pen, attempting to rescue her deaf dog. Caspar, seeing the woman as a threat, sat on her, and the only way the woman felt she could free herself was to bite him in, ah, a sensitive area. After Caspar sat up, the woman was able to grab her small dog and leave the pen back through the wire. Local police said the truck stop was not liable for the woman’s minor injuries as there were signs posted warning people not to enter Caspar’s enclosure. Ironically, the incident occurred on a Wednesday, otherwise known as "hump day."

Oh Deer

Better look twice next time you cross a forecourt. A Georgia woman walking from a fuel island toward a convenience store received a shock when a deer charged across the forecourt and leapt over her, kicking her head in the process. The woman was not injured and was soon able to find the humor in the situation. "You know the funny thing? I was just worried I was going to be late for work," she said.

Dance Like No One’s Watching

Some days you just gotta bust a move wherever you are. For Lindsay Lohan, that’s in the parking lot of a gas station. Lohan posted a video on Instagram of her dancing to “Get Up” by Terrell Hines, clad in a hot pink jumpsuit and black stilettos. The actress can be seen hopping out of a black SUV and asking the driver to move the car as she dances alongside it. The video lasts about 40 seconds and ends right after we see the gas station’s fuel tanks being filled.
