Each month, NACS conducts a retailer survey to take the temperature of the convenience industry. Especially now, when COVID-19 has disrupted operations and sales to a significant degree, insights from the frontline can guide retailers on a path forward. Overall, the industry is seeing some positive signs, with 82% of retailers surveyed experiencing an increase in in-store sales in June when compared with May, while 64% say they’ve seen fuels sales increase at their locations during that period.
