What role in the community do you think convenience stores should play?

Convenience stores should play an active role in the communities we serve. Since we serve half the population on average daily, we see a very diverse and reflective customer base and are uniquely poised to plug into our communities in unique and powerful ways.

What does NACS political engagement mean to you, and what benefits have you experienced from being politically engaged?

To me political engagement means staying informed, building relationships with legislators and regulatory agencies and reaching out with reasonable, rationale requests to inform relevant public policy.

What federal legislative or regulatory issues keep you up at night?

Labor issues keep me up at night more than anything.

What c-store product could you not live without?

Probably should live with less, but I’m a sucker for our Y-Not Stop chicken tenders. And iced tea—half sweet/half-unsweet.
